Betty Ann Brinkman, 70, formerly of the Brazosport area, passed away September 17, 2012 in Salado, Texas. She was born September 15, 1942 in Michigan. She worked for over 20 years as a nurse at Brazosport Memorial Hospital. Betty was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW #4341.
Betty was preceded in death by her daughter Deborah Lynn Dixon and her brother Victor DeLano.
She is survived by 2 children: Cindy Taylor of Cypress,
Corey Brinkman of Lake Jackson,
3 grandchildren: Ashley Davis, Kristen Taylor, Nathan Taylor,
1 brother: George DeLano of Kenai, Alaska,
2 sisters, Ethelynne McLaughlin of Arlington, Texas and
Leona DeLano of Salado, Texas.
The family will receive friends 6pm until 8pm Thursday at Lakewood Chapel. Funeral services will be 2pm Friday, September 21, 2012 at Lakewood Funeral Chapel with Rev. Carroll Grigsby officiating.
