Robert Franklin "Rocky" Edwards was born March 6, 1954 to Harry and Margie Edwards in Bethesda, Maryland. Rocky was the owner of Brazos Automotive.

Rocky was a member with the Brazoria Southwest Metro Go Texan Committee with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and the Precinct 1 Constable Search and Rescue Volunteers.

Rocky was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed doing both with his sons and his friends.

Survivors

Children: Kyle Shawn Edwards of Dallas, Texas; Shannon Nicole Edwards of Whitney, Texas and Colton Henry Edwards of Freeport, Texas.
He is also survived by his mother, Margie C. Edwards, brother Darrell N. Edwards and wife Pam, Leffingwell Edwards of New Braunfels, Jay H. Edwards and wife Julie Leffingwell Edwards of Jones Creek and sister Cindy E. James and husband John B. James of Red Rock. He is survived by three grandchildren, Robin Denis Edwards, Megan Nicole Meyer and Nicholas Shawn Nix of Whitney. He is also survived by his ex-wife and long time and companion Annette Bradford of Freeport. He is also survived by his office manager and secretary and life-time friend Linda Wolf, along with numerous nieces and nephews and friends
