David Barnett Neece passed away at his home in Lake Jackson at the age of 60.

David was born in Freeport, Texas on July 21, 1952 to William and Marie Neece. He graduated from Brazosport High School and went on to be a licensed plumber. David had a passion for Tombstone, Arizona and actually went to the anniversary of the shoot-out recently. David was a history buff and also loved fishing.

David was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by: brothers James Neece, Richard Neece and sister Cynthia Susan Whitten;

niece Laura Katherine McClary and husband Kelly and her daughter Tiffany McClary, nephew, William Frank Whitten and wife Desire' and their sons Blayne Whitten, Mason Whitten and Carter Whitten,

niece, Tina Smithey and husband Daniel and her son Lonnie Parker, Jr. and her daughter Amber Popinga, and nephew, Mark Neece and wife Brandy and their children Adam Neece and Cora Neece.

The family will receive friends 2pm until 3pm Saturday, November 17,2012 at Lakewood Funeral Chapel with funeral services starting at 3pm.

I am so sorry for your loss. David and I were neighbors years ago when he lived at Garden Oak Apts. in Lake Jackson. He was a nice person and know you will miss him. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. God Bless
