The family will receive friends 10am until noon Thursday. Funeral services will be 2pm Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the Lakewood Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Davenport officiating. Interment will follow at Angleton Cemetery.
Carolyn was born July 27, 1936 in Houston, Texas to Charlie and Leola Coons. She came to Angleton in 1994.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Carroll Wilkerson.
She is survived by 3 children: Craig Lovell and wife Mary of Coppell, Texas,
Sam Lovell and wife Kay of Kennard, Texas,
Ferris Baack and Patti of Spartanburg, South Carolina,
3 grandchildren: Victoria Lovell, Ross Lovell, Lacy Lovell,
3 step-daughters: Cindy Gunnels. Patty Eason, and Penny Carlson, and 8 step grandchildren, numerous step great grandchildren, and
1 brother: Fred Ardeneaux, Jr. of Pflugerville, Texas and close friends Sandra and Howard Puckett.

Carolyn you were my American Mom and my children's grandma. You loved me like a daughter, and I always felt I could pick up the phone and chat even after all these years. I will miss that and I/we will miss you very much. Thank you for making me a part of your family, it is something I treasure and I will never forget you.
