Paula Maldonado "Nana", 84, of Clute passed away Monday March 18, 2013, at Brazosport Hospital. She was born on January 25, 1929 in Brownsville TX. She was a sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother who loved being outdoors, enjoyed gardening. Paula's joy was to be a professional landscaper for her clientele.

Proceeded in death by parents, Thomas and Maria Maldonado. She will be greatly missed and is survived by her husband of 17 years, Alfredo Lucio, of Clute; and six children, Yolanda and husband, David Ledesma, of Clute, Esther and husband, Robert Jenkins, of San Antonio, Andres and wife, Eva Galicia, of Clute, Manuel Maldonado Sr., of Clute, Jina and husband, Ruben Reyes, of Richwood, Noe Galicia, of Clute; 11 grandkids, Lisa and husband, Brandon Allen, of Clute, Cherri and husband, Jose Martinez, of Austin, Martin and wife, Alohi Galicia, of California, Eartha Cruz of San Antonio, Manuel and wife, Gina Jimenez, of Lake Jackson, Alice Jauregui, of Pearland, Ester and husband, Gabriel Balderas, of Angleton, Andy Galicia, of Lake Jackson, Hisela Galicia, of Corpus Christi, Naomi Maldonado Bailey, of Louisiana, Manuel and wife, Lawanna Maldonado, of Louisiana; 32 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.


Arrangements by Lakewood Chapel in Lake Jackson, TX . Visitation will be held on March 21, 2013, Thursday, from 6 until 9 p.m. Burial services at Lakewood on Friday, March 22, 2013, at10 a.m. Pallbearers will be Travis Hill, Ramon Rodriguez, Elijah Galicia, Jeremiah Galicia, Manuel Jimenez, Andy Galicia.
