A Memorial gathering for Florentina Olivo Slezinsky Curran, age 68, of Brazoria, will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 4th, 2013, at Lakewood Funeral Home in Lake Jackson.

Florentina's interests included gardening, cooking, entertaining, and caring for her grandchildren.


She was preceded into Eternal Life by her parents, Eleuterio and Juanita Olivo; daughter, Elizabeth Slezinsky; Henry Slezinsky, Sr.


She is survived by her husband, Dan Curran; children, Henry Slezinsky Jr., Bobbie Slezinsky and Michellie Slezinsky; siblings, Mary O. Reyes, Beatrice Longoria, Terry McFerrin, and Janie Olivo; grandchildren, Ayania Slezinsky and Rene Ebarb; son-in-law, Bryan Fujimoto.
