J. D. Spencer, 95, formerly of Lake Jackson, Texas passed away Thursday, October 17, 2013 in League City, Texas. The family will receive friends 4pm until 6pm Sunday at the Lakewood Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will be private.

J.D. was preceded in death by his wife of sixty years Dorothy Spencer.

He is survived by 2 children: Lynn Spencer and wife Myra of Seabrook,

Alan Spencer and wife Carolyn of Sweeny,

5 grandsons : Jeffrey, Jerry, David, Scott, and Darron Spencer and several great grand children.

J. D. was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Jackson. He retired from Dow Chemical Company.
