Maria Elva Rodriquez, 66, of Freeport passed away Friday, November 29, 2013 in Houston. She was born in Pearsall, Texas to Mersed Rodriquez, Jr. and Josea Duran Rodriquez on June 16, 1947. She was a member of the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Angleton, Texas.

Maria Elva is survived by her mother Josea Rodriquez of Dilley, Texas,

three daughters: Erlinda Nunez and her husband, David of Freeport,

Elda Carranza and her fiancé' Darryl Urps of Clute,

Ernestina Carranza and her girlfriend Leslie Tristan of Houston,

6 grandchildren: Joe, Jr., Cesar, Ricky, Angel, Joshua, Teja,

3 great grandchildren: Aaliyah, Arianna, Julian,

6 brothers, and 4 sisters.

The family will receive friends 1pm until service time Monday. The memorial service will be 2:30, Monday, December 2, 2013 at Lakewood Funeral Chapel.
