J.D. is survived by his son: Drew Collins of Arkansas,
mother, Rebecca Hobbs of Lake Jackson,
father, Johnny Collins and wife Melanie of Brazoria,
sister, Billie Tyson of Clute,
step-sister, Heather Lacina of Brazoria,
grandmothers, Billie Drake of Lake Jackson, Tx
Betty Crisp of Bay City, Tx
Myrtle Collins of Brazoria, Tx and
many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family will receive friends 1pm until service time 2pm, Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the Lakewood Funeral Chapel.

J.D. and I were good friends during high school, and although we lost track of each other for many years, we instantly re-connected during a run in. Blessed to have had that opportunity to see him smile again, heartbroken about his passing. May God comfort his entire family through their loss.
