She is survived by eight of nine children, Frances Meche, of West Columbia, Bobbie LeJeune (Charles), of Mowata, LA, Dale Andrepont (Walter), of Eunice, LA, Wayne Richard (Kathy), of Eunice, LA, Brenda De Berry (Jack), of Raywood, TX, Paul Richard (Taw), of West Columbia, TX, Billie Bellard (Lannis), of Dayton, TX, Terry Richard (Patrice), of Reserve, LA. Connie and Leroy had 31 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren, and six great great-grandchildren. She is survived by three sisters, Pam Jenkins, of Ipswich, England, Joy (Ray) Taylor, of Stoke Park, Ipswich, England, and Sybil Double, of Ipswich, England.
Connie lived in West Columbia since 1981, where she has volunteered at the Columbia Christian Senior Citizen Center and Country Store for over 25 years. She enjoyed working with her friends and visiting with the customers. Connie loved working with her flowers, writing letters to family and friends and never missed sending birthday cards to children and grand children.
Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Richard, after 37 years of marriage, her youngest daughter, Donna Combs, sons-in-law, Sam Combs and Joe Meche, two brothers and four sisters.
On April 25, 2015, the family will receive friends at 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Central Assembly of God, 709 West Mulberry, Angleton, Texas. Services will begin at 1:00 p.m..
