Aaron D. Wilson

Today we say goodbye and hang the coat of one very well known Coach, Soul Surfer, Devoted Husband, and Father whom carries the badge as "Dad" to many more than just his own children.

One who set the pace of dominance with determination in so many local athletes on the field while at the same time implanting strong morals and values at home.

A man who tested the waters with just about everything imaginable and always had a story to tell.

Mr. Aaron D. Wilson , of Angleton, Texas, passed away peacefully while asleep in his favorite recliner this Monday, June 1, 2015, at the age of 64.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Roselle; and his sister, Roberta.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 44 years, Linda; his daughter, Jennifer; his son, J.D.; and three grandchildren, Aaron, Jessica, and Gianna; along with his brother, Bud; sister, Lexa; nieces and nephews, Dana, Eric, Rachel, Amy, Robin, and Donna Dee; and his in-laws, Henry, Margaret, Noel, and families.

His legacy of life will carry on forever here in Brazoria County and the memories we all made with him will be forever cherished.

Visitations will be held this Saturday, June 6th, 2015 , at Lakewood Chapel in Lake Jackson, T exas, at 1:00 p.m. and funeral services at 3:00 p.m., followed by burial.

"May the celebration of eternal life be with you in peace." -J.D. Wilson

It's still very challenging to see your empty recliner....can't believe it's been 2 years. You are and forever will be "The Love of my Life" "My Soul Mate" and waiting for the day the Lord grants us to continue our eternal life. God I miss you "Love" ! Linda

Hard to believe it's been a year. I couldn't of asked for a better father-in-law. I miss watching ball games together & making fun of each other.
Always treated me with respect & kindness; always in my thoughts.

It has been awhile, my friend. I really enjoyed the days we spent working together and the few times we got to hang out after work. My only regret is that we did not get a chance to hit some waves at Surfside.

Rest well, Surfer, and RIP IT UP!!

Somehow just now I Googled your name, old friend and found that you had fallen "asleep." We had some great times together in the years of 1968-1972. Thanks for introducing me to my wonderful wife, Windy way back then. Have a good "rest", "Toad." You were a super guy who gave himself for the welfare of others first.
