Georgia was born on September 9, 1930 in La Grange, Texas, to George H. and Irene Osthoff.
She lived her life in La Grange until she met Ernest C. Clark and was married August 7, 1949. The Clarks shared a wonderful marriage of 66 years.
Along with their children, Georgia and Ernest moved to the Brazosport area in 1956. She was employed for 27 years at the Children's Clinic for Doctors T.E. Cook, Oscar Johnson, Werner Stork, and Thomas Allen. After retiring from the Children's Clinic, she worked at Luycx Plumbing for several years before finally retiring in 2008.
Georgia was a long time member of Christ Lutheran Church in Lake Jackson, where she served on the church council for many years.
She loved her gardening and to travel. She was a blessed wife, wonderful mother, and fantastic grandmother and great-grandmother. Most of all she loved the Lord Our God.
She will be greatly missed and in our hearts forever.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Ernest C. Clark; son, Jeffrey Paul Clark; daughter, Pamela Gwin; granddaughters, Stephanie Vincent and husband, David, Tiffanie Mixon, Bethanie Mixon Larson and husband, Israel; great-grandchildren, Cadelyn Bennett, Casen Vincent, Trey Mitcham, Tyler Mitcham and Jacob Larson. Beloved pets Precious and Figaro.
Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Paul Clark, Sheriff Charles Wagner, Jeff Duhon, Sam Palasota, Rick Brown and Darrell Schoppe.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. T.E. Cook, Israel Larson, and David Vincent.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 11, 2016 at Christ Lutheran Church with Paul Geisler officiating. Interment will be held at La Grange Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Lakewood Funeral Chapel at 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 10, 2016.
Final arrangements by the Turner Family at the Lakewood Funeral Chapel, (979) 297-6464.

Dear Clark family, my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I remember Mrs. Clark clearly, both at church in Freeport and at the Children's Clinic in Lake Jackson. Georgia was a loving and sweet woman. Over the years, I enjoyed our banter back and forth plus all the wonderful choir parties she hosted. Her garden was always beautiful and everyone always had a good time there. I know she'll be sorely missed.
