Odette Elisa Laza

Odette Laza 89, of Lake Jackson, Texas passed away Monday March 7, 2016 at her resident.
Odette was born in Saint Servais, Belgium, March 7, 1927 to Louis and Jeanne Sterpin.

Odette met and married the love of her life, William Laza August 2, 1946, A World War ll solider, they began their life together in Lake Jackson, Texas. Where they had four children. Odette and William were married for 53 years.

Odette is survived by her children Claudette and husband Eugene Dirzanowski of Wild Peach. William (Gingie) Laza Jr. of Clute. Daniel Laza of Lake Jackson.

She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild. Other survivors include her sister Juliette along with other family members in Belgium.

Odette was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and sister, her loving husband William Laza, son Edward Laza and daughter Lorette Laza.

Services for Odette will be Friday 11, 2016 at 5 pm at the Kingdome Hall in Richwood, Texas.

Odette loved to serve Jehovah and was a Pioneer sister,

Odette was also the first female to fly solo in an airplane in Brazoria County. Odette received her U.S. Citizenship October 22, 2014.

Odette was a sister, aunt, niece, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a great great grandmother and to all a friend!
