Madison "Andy" Eugene Anderson

Madison Eugene (Andy) Anderson, 83, of Lake Jackson, TX went peacefully to be with his Lord on Thursday, May 19, 2016 with his family by his side. Visitation will be held at Lakewood Chapel, at 7pm until 9pm Sunday, with funeral services 10am Monday, May 23, 2016 at Lakewood Chapel. Interment will follow at Restwood Memorial Park Cemetery, Clute, TX. Pallbearers will be Dylan Linder, Luke Harralson, Lane Harralson, Johnathon McDaniels, Dennis Mican and Landon Wilkinson. Andy was born October 10, 1932 to father, Thomas Harris Anderson and mother, Annie Hugh Black Anderson in Bashi, Alabama. Andy is preceded in death by his father and mother, his step mother Vada Anderson and his brother Thomas Hugh Anderson. Andy served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was an MP stationed in Germany from 1953 through 1955. After his honorable discharge from the Army, Andy and a buddy hitchhiked from New York City back to his family home in Clute, TX. Shortly after his return from his military service he became a Carnation Milk Man in the Brazosport area. When his wife, Beverly, was a teenager she remembers him delivering milk to her family, not knowing at the time that he would someday be her husband. Andy went to work at Dow Chemical, Freeport Plant, as a Pipefitter and retired after 23 years of loyal service. Andy is survived by his wife of 29 years, Beverly King Anderson of Lake Jackson, He is also survived by his two children; son, Ricky Anderson and wife Mitzi of Three Rivers, TX along with their three daughters, Kyndal, Rikki Lea, and Makensey Anderson of San Marcos, TX;his daughter Rene Anderson Linder and husband Steve of Lake Jackson, and their son Dylan Linder of Kyle, TX, along with the mother of his children Happy Bertolett of Three Rivers, TX; one brother Norman Ralph Anderson and his wife Margaret of Deer Park, TX. He is also survived by his two step daughters, Robin Bartow Harralson of Angleton, and her two sons, Luke Harralson of New Braunfels, TX and Lane Harralson of Lake Jackson; Redonda Bartow McDaniels and husband John of Eustace, TX and their two children Johnathon McDaniels and Haley McDaniels also of Eustace, TX. He is further survived by his sister-in-law Peggy Keiffer of Clarence, LA, sister-in-law Janice King Mobley and husband Calvin, sister-in-law Pam Riddle, and brother-in-law Rik King and wife Nell all of Lake Jackson, along with nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Andy was the sweetest man you would ever want to know. He was a man of few words with an infectious smile a twinkle in his eye and a mischievous sense of humor. To know Andy was to love Andy. Over the years many people have had the privilege of being one of his family members, extended family members, friends, coworkers or acquaintances and all are blessed to have known him. Rest in Peace, Sweet Andy. Should you choose, the family request that charitable donations be made to the American Heart Association or the charity of your choice.
