Jerry Wells Dunn

Jerry Wells Dunn went to be with the Lord on July 18, 2016, at the age of 76 years. Jerry was born on October 26, 1939 in Navasota, TX to Philip Frank Dunn and Anna Laura Mariam Dunn. Jerry was a machinist for Dow Chemical Company for 33 years, retiring in 1997. He also served in the U.S. Army 41st Artillery from 1959 to 1962. In his earlier life he enjoyed coaching LIttle League in Clute and Lake Jackson. And going hunting with his sons. He loved playing golf and fishing. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Inell Harden Dunn; sons, Stephen Jerome Dunn and wife, Michelle, of Springfield, Oregon, Stuart Paul Dunn and wife, Kristy, of Midlothian, TX and Robert Wells Dunn and wife, Lisa, of Alvin, TX; grandchildren, Holly Dunn Damian and husband, Seve, Ryan Dunn, Brandi Dunn, Derek Dunn, Courtney Dunn, Kelly Dunn and Christopher Dunn; brothers, Frank Dunn and wife, Beverly, of Novato, CA, Benjamin Dunn and wife, Vada, of Lake Jackson, Wm. David Dunn and wife, Melody, of Brooksville, FL; brothers-in-law, Ralph Harden and wife, Leilani, of Victoria, Timothy Martin and wife, Rhonda, of Houston; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and sister, Jeanette Dunn. The family wishes to thank Dr. A. Amin, Dr. Janet Tu, of MD Anderson, Sugar Land and special nurse Lori Delgado with IPH Hospice. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at Wesley First United Methodist Church-Clute, located at 1 Wesley Drive, Clute, Texas 77531.
