ELOIS PEARL (Burt) KITTMAN, a longtime resident of Lake Jackson Texas, was 84 as the evening twilight faded, Mother went to be with Dad, and to be with her Lord and Savior. She peacefully passed away on September 11th, 2016 in the St. Luke's Houston Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was born a true country girl in Walker County Texas, a small community called Dodge, Texas. She is survived by her son David Wayne Kittman, her daughter Susan Janell (Kittman) Briggs, son-in-law Mark Allan Briggs, and her precious grandson, Taylor Allan Briggs, her Greatest Pride and Joy, all of Lake Jackson, Texas. She is also survived by her oldest and last living sibling, her sister Minnie Elizabeth (Burt) Davis of Houston, Texas, who is 99 years and 9 months old, along with many, many Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband "Bill", William Plaze Kittman, also known by his family of relatives as "Billy", by her parents Anna Elvira (Rothermel) Burt and John David Burt, Sr., her sisters Hellen Elvira, Cora May and Myrtle Louise and brothers Johnny Jr., Robert Charles, Bennie Carl, George Edward, and her twin brother Louis Earl Burt. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Jackson for over 60 years and a proud member of the Adult IV Ladies Sunday School Department. She was an avid gardener ever where she lived and a past member of the Lake Jackson Garden Club. She also volunteered as a "Pink Lady" in the Ladies Auxiliary at the Brazosport Memorial Hospital. She worked in the community as a Data Processor for the Brazosport Independence School District, and then retired from Dow Chemical, Texas Operations in 1992 where she worked as an Administrative Assistant.
