Funeral services for Edith Ouida McMinn, age 99, of Country Village Care will be held at 1:00 p.m. on September 24, 2016, at Gulf Prairie Cemetery with the Rev. Mike O'Neill officiating. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Ralph H. McMinn; daughter, Sandra Drago; and grandson, Ralph Michael Campbell. Survivors include her daughters, Sue Gourley (Leslie), and Sherry J. McMinn; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Mom was a retired second grade teacher from Stephen F. Austin Elementary, in Jones Creek. Mom was a sweet, loving person to everyone she met. The family would like to thank the staff, nurses and aides for all the loving care they gave her for the last six years of her life.
