Nathan Warren Phillips

Nathan W. Phillips, 94, of Angleton, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2016. Nathan was born on July 27, 1922, in Lenoir County, NC, to the late Lacy and Selma Gilbert Phillips. He was a World War II Veteran, 3rd Degree Mason, Member of the Elk's Lodge and VFW, where he held many offices. Nathan retired from Dow Chemical Company. Nathan was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian. His memory will continue to live in the hearts of his family. A service to celebrate and honor Nathan's life will be held on Friday, October 7, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. under the pavilion at Angleton Cemetery in Angleton, TX. He is survived by his sisters, Mary Ella Moore, Dot Dawson; and several nieces and nephews from Kinston, North Carolina; and his "adopted family," David and Lora Duffey from Angleton, Texas.
