Funeral services for Adolph "Scotty" Herrera, Jr., age 73, of Lake Jackson will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 24th at Chapelwood United Methodist Church, 300 Willow Dr, Lake Jackson, TX 77566 with Rev. Kate Walker officiating. A viewing preceding the services will be held at Chapelwood at 1:30 p.m. Scotty was born on September 4, 1943 in San Antonio, TX. A Vietnam Veteran, Scotty was an avid golfer, loving husband, father, grandfather and prior to retiring, spent 34 years as a Research Technician with Dow Chemical. Scotty was a resident of Lake Jackson for 45 years. Scotty is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Ann" Herrera; son, Scotty; daughter, Karen; grandson, Luca; mother, Gloria; brothers, Joseph, Alex and Danny; sisters, Gilda, Marie and Gloria; and numerous nieces and nephews.
