Henry "Big Papa" Marvin Wessarges

Henry Marvin Wessarges "Big Papa" passed away at the age of 69 on June 26th of 2017 in Lake Jackson, Texas. He was born in Houston, Texas on October 17th of 1947 to William Frederick and Ellen Vernettie (Weatherford) Wessarges. Marvin graduated from Brazosport High School in 1966. Following to graduate from Wharton County Junior College. He began working at DOW at the age of 21 as an Epoxy lab technician for 34 years. He had spent many nights in his shed building on his motorcycles and vehicles. Retiring from his graveyard shifts to be a family man. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Ellen Wessarges. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patricia Wessarges; his only daughter, Yvette Sharer and husband, John Sharer Jr.; his granddaughters, Macey and Savanah Sharer; his special dog, Chico, and many other relatives and friends. Marvin will be dearly missed and loved by everyone. His presence was a blessing to everyone. We will always love and miss you Big Papa. Rest easy Daddy. Services will be held on Saturday, July 01, 2017 at Lakewood Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be from 10:00am until services at 2:00pm with Brent Pittman officiating.
