Jan Leigh (Tanner) Vandergrifft age 62 of Jones Creek, TX passed away in her home peacefully on August 14, 2017. She was surrounded by her family. She was born in Tampa, FL on October 23, 1954. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, fishing and spending precious time with her loved ones. Her motto in life was - "Don't worry be happy." She is proceeded in death by her father Rudolph Martina Tanner, mother Rose Amelia (Smith) Raney, and sister; Zoe (Tanner) Peel. She is survived by her partner Ronnie. Her four children; Shannon (Rich) Mitchell of West Union, OH; Tara (Steve) Mote of Huntsville, AL; Brandi (Bill Sharp) Salinero of Jones Creek, TX; Jessica (Wade) Zirlott of Lake Jackson, TX. One brother; Marcus (Sharon) Tanner of Wesley Chapel, FL. Eleven grandchildren; Sarah, Jeremy, Casey, Bradley, Patrick, Randall, Madelyn, Ella, Mikell, Joleigh, Jamison; ten great-grandchildren and one on the way. A Memorial Service is to be held in her honor. The location, date and time will be announced on a later date.
