Francisco Fernandez Castro

Francisco F. Castro went to be with the Lord on August 21, 2017 at age 70. He was born in Brownsville, TX, August 13, 1947 and was a Freeport resident, he was a retired contractor and member of the VFW post 8576. He is survived by his sons, Sabino Garcia from Monroe, LA; Francisco Castro Jr. from Tampa FL; daughter, Maria A. Gomez from Freeport, TX; siblings, Manuel Castro Jr.; George Castro; Marķa Guadalupe Cordova; Esmeralda Moreno, all from Pasadena, TX; Florentino Castro from Katy TX; Juanita Castro from South Houston; and Yolanda Castro from Fort Wayne, Indiana. Funeral Service will be held at Lakewood Funeral Chapel at 10am Sat. Aug. 26. Interment will be held at Houston National Cemetery at 11:30am Mon. Aug. 28 The family will receive friends at Lakewood Funeral Chapel at 5pm-8pm on Friday August 25.
