Mary Etta Robnett

Mary Etta Robnett, 83, of Clute, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017. She was born Dec. 22, 1933 at Miamisburg, Ohio to Clyde and Esta Lucas Robinett. Mary served in the U. S. Air Force during the early fifties. She met her husband of 59 years while she was in the military. Mary was a volunteer at Madge Griffith Elementary School, for many years where she enjoyed reading to children. She loved family, friends and the Astros. She was preceded in death by her husband: Clovis Ray Robnett, her parents, 2 brothers: Ronald Robinett and Clyde Robinett and 2 sisters: Juanita Penrod and Alberta House. Mary is survived by three children: Randal Robnett and wife Stephanie Brown of Austin, Texas; Rick Robnett and Martha Clark of Buda, Texas; Alice Genereau of Lake Jackson, Texas; 2 granddaughters: Melanie Robnett and Alyssa Genereau; many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Memorial services will be 2:30pm Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Lakewood Funeral Chapel with a reception to follow. Online condolences can be made to www.lakewoodfuneralchapel.com.
