Raymond Samuel Shelby

Raymond Samuel Shelby, age 78, went to be with his Lord and Savior after a long battle with cancer on November 11, 2017. Raymond leaves behind his wife of 35 years, Barbara Jean; his daughter, Bobbi Allen husband Frank Gressett; daughter, Karen Shields, husband Clarence Shields Jr.; son, Steven Samuel Shelby. Raymond was blessed to be the grandfather of Jason Shields, wife Vanessa, Joni Nichols, husband Travis, Jennifer Grear, husband Delvin, and Amanda Brown; great-grandchildren, Steven, Kaitlyn and Mathew Nichols, Aaron and Jace Grear and Derek Shields. He is also survived by many other family and friends. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Jewel Shelby; sister, Shirley Matlock. A celebration of Raymond Shelby's life will be at 3:00 p.m., Friday, November 17, 2017 at Life Foursquare Church, 501 Karankawa St., Angleton, TX 77515, 979-849-1161.
