Juanita Boggess

Juanita Boggess, age 96, of Angleton, Texas passed away January 1, 2018 at Country Village Care. She was born April 5, 1921 in Waller County to Samuel and Aliene Lawson. She was the oldest of six children and was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 56 years, Carlton Boggess; two brothers, Sonny Lawson and Jack Lawson; and son-in-law, Joe Green. She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Bagley and husband Robert, and Pat Green both of Angleton; three grandchildren, Trasa Lofland, Jason Green and Andy Green; and eight great grandchildren. Her greatest joy in life was being with her family and especially her grandchildren. She loved cooking huge meals and you always left her house with food or a gift of some kind. She was called NaNa by her grandkids and they all loved her dearly. Visitation will be Friday, January 5th from 12:30 to 1:30 and funeral services will be at 2:00 at Lakewood Funeral Chapel with the Pastor Bonnie Cowing officiating. Burial will be at Restwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Green, Andy Green, Tyler Green, Eric Mills, Kris Mills and Hunter Lofland.
