Melinda Joy Brandon

Melinda Patterson Brandon, 57, a beloved Daughter, Sister, Mother, Wife and Friend has gone to be with the Lord as of Thursday morning the 30th of August. She is survived by her mother Wanda Patterson, her daughter Randi Ragan, husband Keith Brandon, elder sister Beverly Hobson, and elder brothers Donald and Michael Patterson, and various other loving friends and family she touched over the years. Linda was born on January 6th, 1961 in Pasadena, TX. The youngest of the four children born to Donald Patterson Jr. and Wanda Patterson, née Burton, she grew up in the Brazosport area and graduated Brazoswood High School in 1979. She worked various jobs in the intervening years: from the old Weiner's in Clute, TDCJ, Buc-ee's, and Speedy Stop. For the last 12 years she has been a mainstay at Lake Hardware and Lumber in Clute, who became like a second family to her. Melinda has gone to be with her father Donald Jr., her paternal grandparents, Donald Sr. and Linnie Patterson, and her maternal grandparents Claude and Coda Burton. A Memorial will be held at the Sunday September 2nd at 3pm at Lakewood Funeral Chapel, 98 Dixie Dr, Lake Jackson for all who would like to pay their respects.
