Daniel "Danny" Price Kellum

Danny Price Kellum, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Friday, December 21st,2018, at the age of 70. He went peacefully in his sleep, after a short battle of stage 4 cancer. Funeral service will be held at 10am on Friday December 28th, 2018, at Brazos Pointe Fellowship in Lake Jackson. Family will receive friends at Lakewood Funeral Home at 6pm until 8 pm, Thursday December 27th, 2018. He was born June 17, 1948 in Conroe, TX. Parents Juanita Faye and Clarence Roland Crocker. He was a Clute kid at heart. Danny was proud of his service in the United States Navy, serving in Vietnam on the USS Princeton. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Clute, TX, and he attended Brazos Pointe Fellowship which he called home. Danny's passion was cooking and having family gatherings, which family was the most important thing to him. He started a small meal ministry which he enjoyed. He was a very humble man that would not take credit for any of his good doings. His other passion was working at STS in Clute, TX and being with is co-workers.
He is preceded in death by his parents Juanita Faye & Clarence Roland Crocker, brothers Jimmy Lee Kellum Sr., Billy Wayne Kellum, and Jimmy Duran. He is Survived by the love of his life, wife, Gail Marie Kellum, daughters; Leann Kellum Strahan, Kristi Lynn Denton (husband Brian), Kacy Fay Kellum (Judy Melgar), step daughter Kelia M. Gartman (husband Robert), sister Sharon Jewel Klehm, brothers; Frank Roland Crocker, Kennith Gartman, and Harold Gartman. Blessed with his grandchildren; Justin Mitchell, Dillan Strahan, Haley Strahan, Jake Kellum-Hudman, Brina Denton, Kourtnei Gartman, Alice Gartman, and 4 great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers; Kennith Gartman, Harold Gartman, Robert Gartman, Buddy Kellum, Danny Leist, and Juan Sagala. Honorary Pallbearers; provided by Masonic Lodge. Want to say Thank you to Alisha, Kaykay, Kyla, and Sharon Klehm, for all you have done. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at First State Bank in Clute/Lake Jackson, TX Acct #6104137. Benefit in Danny's honor will be held January 26, 2019.
