Esther Cisneros Ramirez

Esther Cisneros Ramirez, age 74, of Clute Texas met the Lord on Sunday August 8, 2021, in Houston Texas, surrounded by her family. She was born to her beloved parents Seferino and Hortencia Cisneros, in Robstown Texas on April 15, 1947. Esther will have a visitation at 11:00 am and a service at 1:00 pm on Monday August 16, 2021, at Lakewood Funeral Home with Deacon Felipe Garza officiating. The family will have a Celebration of Life for Esther Ramirez at The Fraternal Order of Eagles (6818 Hwy 332, Freeport Texas) at 3:30 pm.
Esther C. Ramirez mostly known as "Mom or Grandma" knew no stranger. Esther was full of smiles and laughter everywhere she went and welcomed everyone with open arms. She was dedicated in everything she did, with her first and only job being at Kroger's for 25 years until she retired. Esther was a member of the Lady Auxiliary for 24 years, became and served as president in 2001. In 2005, she became a Madam Trustee. Esther enjoyed long drives with no destination, she loved the view of trees passing by and especially the beach. She could sit out at the beach all day, listen to the waves, hearing the kids laughing and playing, while laughing to herself and betting people who would get stuck in the sand. She loved watching her grandkids in sports, spending time with them, playing her games or watching her favorite show The Amazing Race. She could watch all 23 seasons and restart it and get excited like it was her first time watching it. Esther touched everyone's lives and made a difference for the better. No one will ever meet anyone like her. Even through this difficult time, she would not want anyone mourning over her, but to laugh and smile instead at the memories she shared with them. Sunflowers were her favorite so anytime you see one, remember the amazing, wise, funny and loving woman that she once was.
She is survived by her sons Gonzalo Riojas Jr ( Gracie), Robert Riojas (Sheri), her daughter Christina Martinez ( Daniel) , her grandchildren John David Ramirez, Jessica Rivas ( Willie), Christina Ramirez, Johanna Renee Riojas, Marc Anthony Riojas, Robert Andrew Riojas, Matthew Louis Riojas, Daniel Martinez III ( Kylie), Victoria Micaela Martinez, Michael Anthony Martinez; 12 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren, 1 great- great-great grandchild; her sister's Carmen Olguin ( Nieves), Sylvia Gonzalez ( Sam), her brother Danny Cisneros (Sally); as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and many who called her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Gonzalo Riojas Sr., her second husband Joe Victor Ramirez, her brother David Cisneros and her great grandchild "JellyBean" (Martinez-Gomez)
