Michael Lee Cast, Sr
Mike was born on February 25, 1953 to Wade Hampton Cast and Dorothy Louise (Harrison) Cast, and died on July 18, 2023 following a lengthy illness.
Mike was born & raised in Brazoria County, primarily Freeport, Texas. He was best known for playing the guitar and singing his favorite country songs over the years alongside some of his favorite friends/bandmates. He had his own band (Kountry Kast) for years that played in various hangouts throughout the county; as well as participating in jam sessions, benefits and fundraisers every chance he got.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents; step-father Bud Archey; sister Donna Siller; brother Wayne Cast; and previous wife Beverly Cast.
Mike is survived by current wife Darlene Cast of Freeport, Tx; son Michael Cast (Traci) of Jones Creek, Tx; brother Bobby Cast (Margaret) of Jones Creek, Tx; as well as multiple grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
