Molly Beth O'Neil Williams
4/1/1947 - 9/7/2023
Molly was born an April Fool's baby to Willard & Tip O'Neil in Tulsa, OK. The family moved to Lake Jackson, TX a year later. She graduated from Brazosport High School in 1965. She attended a Junior Achievement conference at Indiana University, and then moved on to Alvin Community College where she obtained an Associate's Degree in Business Management. After Alvin, she went on to receive her RDA for Dentistry. She quickly realized the dental field was not for her and started managing apartments in Lake Jackson, Angleton and Wharton, TX. Over the years, she took a break from managing apartments and went on to become a realtor while working under her brother, Tim O'Neill, at Coldwell Banker. Above all Molly was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, mother, mother-in-law, nanny and friend to all.
Mom never met a stranger as she was always a people person. There was always a smile on her face & she possessed an amazing sense of humor. In her adolescence, she loved attending concerts. She also had a passion for baking. A fond memory from her nephew, Pete O'Herron, was when ''Aunt Molly'' introduced him to fajitas. She also always gave him a job whenever he needed one. Molly truly loved everyone, as well as entertaining them. She loved country music, especially Dolly Parton & Kenny Rogers, and enjoyed dancing as well.
I fondly remember mom's love of plants. Quite the green thumb, she was always surrounded by them. She enjoyed decorating her home for every holiday, so extra care was taken to ensure her room was always decked out for each holiday while in assisted living.
Even in her final years with dementia, she still wore that same beautiful smile and was always cutting up with the staff at both Country Village and Oak Village. She made very fond memories with Holly, Allegra, Katelyn, Jennifer, & Lindsey. JoAnn will always hold a special place in our hearts as both a caretaker and close family friend.
Molly is preceded in death by her parents, Willard & Tip O'Neil, brother, Tim O'Neil, and best friend, Shirley Brooks. She is survived by her sister, Diane Duran & husband Jack of San Antonio, TX; sister, Judy Davis of New Braunfels, TX; sister, Sue Uptmore of Katy, TX; daughter, Tammy House Gonzales of Clute, TX; daughter, Jennifer Meister & husband Andy, of Fulshear, TX, 5 grandchildren, Joshua, Karrissa, Taylor, Kyle and Courtney, 5 great-grandchildren, Hunter, Cash, Layla, Izabella, and Lilliana.
The family would like to extend our gratitude to Choice Hospice & Lizette Martinez for caring for our mother in her final days.
We know that Molly is eating all the M&M's she could ever want with a smile on her face.
Please continue watching over us all until we meet again. Rest peacefully in Heaven.
