Lawrence Dean Fast

Lawrence Dean Fast, 75, of Lake Jackson, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2024, at the Oak Village Nursing Facility in Lake Jackson, Texas. His memorial service will be held on September 20, 2024 at Noon at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 100 Oak Drive South, Lake Jackson, TX 77566 followed by a reception in the church hall.

He graduated from Diller High School in Diller, Nebraska. He went on the work for the Nebraska Department of Roads as a Project Manager until he retired and moved to Texas where he was a long-time employee of Home Depot in Lake Jackson until his health began to fail.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Francis Fast and his beloved dog Sophie.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Susan; his siblings Laura, Jerry and Janet; his children Michelle (Michie), Matthew (Tara), and Michael; his grandchildren Anthony, Lindsey and William; and his faithful Pup Sara.
