Dorothy was blessed with 10 grandchildren who adoringly called her Mimi. She was even lucky enough to meet her 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild who all loved their Grammy to the moon and back. In 1986 Dorothy graduated with an associate degree in applied science from Brazosport College and went on to work for Texas Gulf Bank in Lake Jackson, TX for 29 years until she retired at the age of 76.
