Kenneth Duane Elliott

Kenneth Duane Elliott Senior, 82, of Lake Jackson, lost his courageous battle with cancer on Monday, July 4th, 2011.

Kenneth was born on July 28th, 1928, in Washington Kansas to Ray and Lola Elliott.

He was a World War II Veteran, having served in the Navy as a SeaBee, and worked for Dow for 35 years.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mable Elliott; his son, Duane Elliott and wife, Karen; his son, Bryan Elliott and wife, Catherine; his grandchildren, Wesley Elliott and wife, Jamie, Kendra Watson and husband, Darin, Luke Elliott and wife, Andrea, Brad Elliott and wife, Delane, and Brandon Elliott; and great-grandchildren, Rebecca, Weston, and Landon Watson, and Renee and Bryan Elliott; brother, Lester Elliott and wife, Bertha and brother, Richard Elliott and wife, Paula.

The family will receive friends 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Lakewood.

Services will be held Thursday, July 7th at 2:00 p.m. at Lakewood Funeral Home Chapel in Clute. Services will be conducted by Pastor Steven Jensen.
