Petra Ontiveros passed away at her home in Brazoria, Texas on Thursday, July 21, 2011 surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her husband, Augustine Ontiveros; by 9 children:

Angelina Guerreo
Jose B. Ontiveros
Anna Celedon
Fernando Ontiveros
Rolando Ontiveros
Augustine Ontiveros, Jr.
Margarita Almanza
Oberlin Ontiveros
Raudel Ontiveros

and by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Martinez and Saturnina Tovar Martinez and by 2 children, Rosalinda and Jose Ontiveros.

The family will receive friends at the Lakewood Funeral Chapel on Saturday, July 23, 2011 from 6:00-9:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. at Lakewood Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at the Brazoria Cemetery.
