Mary Elizabeth Cutshall

Mary Elizabeth Robison Cutshall was born on September 2, 1913 to Chauncey Cornelius Robison and Catherine Kennedy Robison in Staunton, Indiana and went to be with her Lord on January 12, 2012 at the age of 98. She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Clay Cutshall. They grew up within a couple of hundred yards of each other and were the love of each other's life. They were married for 55 years prior to his death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, sister, six brothers and her grandson Mark Cutshall.
She had three sons and a daughter. Jack Cutshall of Glenmora, La, Jim Cutshall and wife Harriet of Lake Jackson, Joe Cutshall and wife Ann of Richmond, and Janet Parker and husband Paul of Lake Jackson.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her grandchildren, Mary Juneau and husband Tom, Carol Cutshall, Caley Lee and husband Chris, Reed Cutshall and wife Erin, Maura Salinas and husband Ken, Marisa Kunkle and husband Matt. Also step grandchildren Jim Willis and wife Quin, Christina Barnsley and Jay Parker and wife Marie.
She leaves 16 great grandchildren: Stephen Juneau, Max Juneau, Henry Clay Cutshall, Braden Lee, Ryan Lee, MaryEvyn Cutshall, Hollis Ann Cutshall, Kelly Salinas, Christopher Salinas, Jack Salinas, Elena Kunkle, Kate Kunkle, along with step great grandchildren Maddie Parker, Katie Parker, Alex Warren, and Vivian Willis.
Mary was raised on a dairy farm and became a school teacher in Indiana. She and Stan came to Texas in 1940. Mary worked behind the scenes in the founding of the local libraries, was a member of the Brazosport Garden Club and was an avid gardener with a green thumb. She was a talented painter and a member of the Brazosport Art League. Stan and Mary were charter members and workers in the Fine Arts Center. They were founding members of St Timothy's Episcopal Church in Lake Jackson. She was an accomplished cook and was known for her inviting dinner table with always room for another. She was a teacher, homemaker, artist, gardener, mother and grandmother extraordinaire.
Her pall bearers will be: Paul Parker, Tom Juneau, Reed Cutshall, Chris Lee, Ken Salinas and Matt Kunkle Honorary Pall Bearers include: Oliver Osborn, Corbin Aslakson, Roy McKneely, Larry Packard and Denis James
Her service will be held at St Timothy's Episcopal Church in Lake Jackson on Tuesday, January 17th at 10:00am.
She will be laid to rest at Restwood Memorial Park alongside her husband following the service.
Viewing will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, January 16th at Lakewood Funeral Chapel on Dixie Drive.
