Scottie "Granny" Louise Cloud

Scottie Louise "Granny" Cloud, 78, of Freeport, Texas went to be with the Lord Thursday, March 8, 2012. She was born September 5, 1933 in Dumas, Arkansas to Leslie and Susie Jones. Scottie was a long time residential Freeport and was a member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church of Richwood. Granny made wonderful pies, cakes and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 7 siblings, and her husband of 36 years, Jimmie Cloud.

Scottie is survived by 4 children: Cynthia Castor and husband Richard of Clute,
Larry Cloud and wife Jamie of Deer Park, Texas,
Sandra Carlton and husband Robin of Freeport,
Eric Cloud and wife Gina of Madison, Alabama;

15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 3 pm until 5 pm on Sunday at the Lakewood Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Monday, March 12, 2012 at Unity Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Carroll Grigsby officiating.

Her open ear, advice and comic wit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
