Cory Dean Cameron
9/17/1976 - 5/25/2012

Cory Dean Cameron passed away at his home, at the age of 35, on May 25, 2012.

Cory was born on September 17, 1976 in Freeport, Texas. He was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes at the age of five and has struggled with this disease all of his life.

Cory grew up going to First Assembly of God in Clute, Texas where he was in the Royal Rangers. As an adult he loved being a D.J. and was known to many, as "D.J. Keebler".

He had a love for all types of music. He also loved doing tattoos and computer repair. He was a great artist.

His home was with his sister, Sloan, who was like a second mom to him. She always called him Nanny McKeebler, because he always helped her out with her three little girls. He loved that name and those girls and they loved him very much, and are missing him already.

Sloan took great care of her brother and was always there for him. She was an awesome second mom to Cory.

Cory had a very loving mellow soul and he will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. All Cory ever wanted was for everyone to be at peace and have love for one another.

We love you always and forever Cory and you will never be forgotten.

Cory was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bobbie Dean and Joe C. Williams Jr., Jessie Delbert Cameron, Margie Ruth Potts; and his cousin, Jonathan Warren.

Cory is survived by his daughter, Nevaeh Cameron, whom he loved very much; his mom, Janet Williams; dad and stepmom, Delbert Dewayne and Veronica Cameron; brothers, Justin and Brandon Cameron; sister, Sloan Cameron Fuentes; half-brother, Mike Cameron; sister-in-law, Jamie Cameron; step-brother, Joey Trevino; step-sisters, Jessica and Joy Trevino; nieces, Addy, Avy, Lilly, Abby and Taylor; nephews, Austin, Logan, and Gaven; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m., Thursday, May 31, 2012. Memorial services will be at 4 p.m., Friday, June 1, 2012, at Lakewood with his cousin, Jarod Williams and childhood Sunday school teacher, the Rev. Jacinto Salazar officiating.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to local American Diabetes Association, 2400 Augusta Dr., Suite 175, Houston, TX 77057.
