Virginia Tuck, 75, of Lake Jackson went to be with the Lord Saturday, August 4, 2012.
She was born Oct. 27, 1936, in Lexington, Oklahoma, to Lemuel and Emma Jones. Virginia and her husband Lee came to Lake Jackson in 1977 after having lived in Norway for four years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and nine siblings.

Virginia is survived by her husband of 56 years, Lee Tuck of Lake Jackson; 3 daughters, Sallie Whiteside and husband, Jim, of Katy, Shirley Giesecke and husband, Charles of Plano, Sandi Hanusch and husband, Craig, of Lake Jackson; 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 2 sisters and her twin brother.

The family will receive friends 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church of Lake Jackson. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at the First Baptist Church of Lake Jackson, with Rev. Chad Alexander officiating. Interment will follow at Restwood Cemetery.
