John Waymond Payne, 87, of Clute, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 2, 2012 surrounded by his family.

The family will receive friends at the Lakewood Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at the Lakewood Funeral Chapel with interment to follow.
