Sallie Aileen Myers

Sallie Myers, 70, of Angleton passed away at Methodist Hospital on December 22, 2012. She was born September 7, 1942 in Knott County, Kentucky to Ballard and Herma Slone. She came to the area in 1973. Sallie was a certified nurse's aide who worked in various nursing homes, home health services and hospice groups.


She is survived by 3 children: Tammy Fletcher and husband Darren of Brazoria,


Frank Byrd of Angleton,


Charles Myers and wife Jenny of Angleton,


7 grandchildren: Devin Fletcher and wife Brenda, Dustin Fletcher and wife Sarah, Heather Myers, Dillon Fletcher, Autumn Bankston, Summer Myers, Taia Trevino,


2 great grandchildren: Scarlett Fletcher and Lilly Myers,


1 brother, Henry Smith,


2 sisters: Greta Bradshaw and Juanita Paul, a very special uncle, Charlie Slone, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.


The family will receive friends 3pm until 5pm Sunday, December 30, 2012 at the Lakewood Funeral Chapel.
