Khris Alan Markham

Khris Markham, 48, of Lake Jackson, TX, passed away January 12, 2013 following a long illness.
Khris was born October 13, 1964 in Ft. Colllins, CO. He was raised in a Christian home by parents Doyle & Cherrie Markham. He graduated from Skyline High School in Idaho Falls, ID and attended Baylor University in Waco, TX. Khris lived in Austin, TX and worked in the technology industry. He graduated from Concordia University, Austin with a business degree. He moved to Lake Jackson, TX in 2005. Khris loved people! He enjoyed working with young people in Boy Scouts, Brazoswood Buc band and his church. He also was a substitute teacher and is remembered by many students in the area.

He is preceded in death by his father Doyle Markham. Khris was a loving father and is survived by his son Garrett Markham; mother Cherrie Markham; sister Tammy Parker & her husband Ron; nephew Ryan Parker; niece Rebecca Parker and grandmother Dollie Welch; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Lakewood Funeral Chapel in Lake Jackson, TX.
