W C Dees, 88, of Lake Jackson, Texas passed away January 20, 2013, in Houston, Texas. He was born May 22, 1924 in Rogers, Texas to Charlie Ira and Cecil Florence Dees. W C was an area resident since 1997. He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, two sisters, and his wife of 65 years, Thelma Dees.

W C is survived by son Douglas Dwight Dees and wife, Karen, of Lake Jackson; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; one sister, Lou Gold, of San Marcos, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.


The family will receive friends 9 a.m. until service time at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 26, 2013, at Lakewood Funeral Chapel with the Rev. David Ketchand officiating. Interment will follow at Brazoria Cemetery.
