Paul Lawrence Rec, formally of Taunton, MA, on March 27, 2013, died of a massive heart attack. Paul was in the army from 1960-1962. Paul worked at BASF in Freeport, TX as a senior production technician. Having beat esphageal cancer 12 years ago, he has enjoyed his retirement.
He is survived by: his wife Kathie (Reilly) Rec for 49 years; one daughter, Debbie Rec; two sons, Steve Rec and wife Cindy and Hank Rec and wife Kerry;
9 grandchildren, Samantha, Dennis, Kali Rec, Heather and Brandy Martin, Kenneth, Ashton, Dalton, Brian Moore;
3 great grandchildren, Joshua, Ricky and Camron;
One sister, Janette Blount and husband Kenneth of West Columbia, Texas, two brothers Richard Rec and wife Inge of Taunton, MA, Roger Rec and wife Carol, of Buzzards Bay, MA.;
Several nieces and nephews in Taunton and Texas and his loyal companion "Sadie".
The family request that instead of flowers people can make donations to a local handicap children charities.
Visitation to celebrate Paul's life will be held at Lakewood Funeral Chapel, 98 N. Dixie Drive, Lake Jackson, TX 77566 on Friday, April 5, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
