Emilia Delgado Corona, 79, of Freeport, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on April 19, 2013, at St. Mary's Church with father Edmund officiating. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at St. Mary's on April 18, 2013.


She was born on April 5, 1934 to Daniel and Dolores Delgado.


She is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Serafin and Jessie Delgado.


She is survived by her spouse, Salomon Corona; siblings, Juana Izaguirre, Virginia and Oscar Diaz, Nabor and Tita Delgado, Mercedez and Carlos Mata, Rosa and Armando Reyes, Mary and John Long; children, Flora and Bill Thompson, Martha and Roy Elizando, Maria and Johnny Kouches, Rebecca and Eddie Damian, Martin Corona, Dalia Bernal, and Andres Corona; 19 grandchildren, Innocensia Burkhart, Miranda Konieczny, Alexandra and Walker Thompson, Gabriela Elizando, Jason Kouches, Alicia Kouches, Christina Hernandez, Jonathan Kouches, Dominique, Joshua and Christian Damian, Victoria, Martin and Brittany Corona, Chance Bernal, Andrew, Anthony and Ashley Corona; 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.


Pallbearers will be Joshua and Christian Damian, Jason Kouches, Anthony Corona, Andrew Corona and Martin Corona Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jonathan Kouches, Walker Thompson, and Chance Bernal.


Per request of the family, cremation will be at a later date. Final arrangements by the Turner Family at the Lakewood Funeral Chapel, 979-297-6464.
