William "Billy" Karl Stoerner
7/31/1953 - 5/8/2013

William Karl Stoerner, "Billy" went to sit on the lap of the Lord on 5-8-13. He was born in Brenham Texas, but spent his life in Lake Jackson. He was in the first graduating class of Brazoswood High School. Billy was an avid angler, State board member and volunteer with CCA, volunteer at Sea Center Texas and lover of the outdoors.


He is survived by his cherished wife of 32 years Bettye Jo Stoerner and his dedicated son, William Ellis Stoerner "Will."His parents Willy and Jeanie Stoerner , siblings Louis and Kevin Stoerner, and Mary Jo Callaway. Also seven nieces and two nephews.

Visitation will be held at Lakewood funeral home at 6-8pm May 10th. Funeral services will be held on May 11th at 10:30 am at Christ Lutheran Church 86 Plantation Drive.

He will be laid to rest in Bleiblerville Texas. Pall bearers will be, Odie Campbell, Steve Cone, Ron Graves , Nick Gunnels, Kyle Harris, Larry Huntsman, John Smith and Steve Walls.


Charities for donations would be Brazosport C.C.A, Or SeaCenter Texas.
