Juan B. Mendoza, 81, of Lake Jackson, Texas went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ February 7, 2014. He was born May 16, 1932 to George and Rosa Mendoza in Lane City, Texas. He has been an area resident since 1942. Juan was a long shore man for I.L.A. Local #30. He was a member of the True Light Church in Jones Creek, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Frances Williams, and 10 siblings.
Juan is survived by 4 children: retired pastor George R. Mendoza, Sr. and wife Sylvia of Lake Jackson,Belinda Mendoza Ramirez and husband, Carlos of Lake Jackson,Glenda Mendoza Mata and husband George of Clute,John A. Mendoza of Clute,7 grandchildren; Glenda Mendoza Rose and husband Bill,John Gabriel Mendoza, Sr.,
Rev. George R. Mendoza, Jr.,Jennifer Mendoza,Belinda Angel Daniel Ramirez,George Mata, Jr.,Diana Mata, and several great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 6pm until 8pm Tuesday at Lakewood Chapel.

Funeral services will be 2pm Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at the Lakewood Funeral Chapel with Pastor Winston Rossow officiating.

Pall bearers will be: Carlos A. Ramirez, John Gabriel Mendoza, Sr., Rev. George R. Mendoza, Jr., Andres Huerta, George Mata, Jr, and Joe Mendoza.

Honorary Pall bearers: George Mata, Sr., Augustine Mendoza, Sr., Vincent M. Huerta, Adam Mendoza, John Mendoza, and Bill Rose.
