Juanita Galindo beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to many passed away on August 17, 2014. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 211 N. Gulf Blvd. Freeport starting at 4pm and available all night. Funeral service will be Thursday, August 21, 2014, at 9:30 am at 211 N. Gulf Blvd. Freeport with burial following.

Juanita was born in Chihuahua, Mexico, on May 6, 1938 to Manuel Galindo and Librada Hernandez. She was married to Lionso Leyva. She was a stay at home mother who dedicated all her time and love to raising her 8 kids. She enjoyed meeting new people and making friends. Her hobbies included gardening, sewing and spending time with her grandkids entertaining them with stories, brainteasers and jokes.

She is survived by her 8 kids, her sons Ervey Leyva, Jesus Leyva, Manuel Leyva, Lionso Leyva, her daughters Carla Reyes, Rosa Hernandez, Dora Lujan, Alma Orona; 28 grandkids, 24 great grandkids and one on the way.
