William Lloyd Vaughan

William Lloyd Vaughan, Sr. 72, of Lake Jackson passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2014. He was born Sept. 29, 1942 to Lloyd and Dorene Vaughan in Walnut Grove, California. He served four years in the U.S.Navy. He came to the area in 1967.

He was preceded in death by his son: William Lloyd Vaughan, Jr. his parents, 2 siblings, and grandson, Dennis Edward Vaughan, Jr.

He is survived by his wife Jody of Lake Jackson,

6 children: Janie Chappell and husband Vince,Dennis Vaughan,
Amber Tanner,Crystal Buford,Barbara Buford,Sabrina Buford

8 grandchildren: Ashley, Corey, and Megan Meade, Chase Chappell, Joshua Warnick, Jesse Young, Christopher Vaughan, Richard Hubbard and 10 great grandchildren,brother Dennis Vaughan, Sr. and sister Susan Gibson and several nieces and nephews and other relatives.

The family will receive friends noon until service time 2pm Monday, January 19, 2015 at the Lakewood Funeral Chapel. Pall bearers will his grandsons. Interment at Restwood Cemetery.
