Lionilia Salazar Mendoza

Lionilia Salazar Mendoza, 84, of Brazoria went to her eternal rest with the Lord, on October 8, 2015. She was born January 17, 1931 in Boling, Texas to Juan Salazar and Rosa Garcia Salazar. She was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jose B. Mendoza, 3 brothers: Juan, Joe, and Gilbert Salazar and 2 sisters: Anita Mendoza and Connie Paiz.

Lionilia is survived by four children: Joe Mendoza of Brazoria, Abel Mendoza of Brazoria, San Juanita Mendoza Jeffress of Brazoria, Rosie Mendoza of Brazoria, 14 grandchildren, 32 great grand children, 3 great great grandchildren, and 2 brothers: Manuel Salazar of Sweeny and Jesse Salazar of Clute.

Funeral services will be 1pm Saturday, October 10, 2015 at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Clute with Father Jim and Father Tin officiating. Interment will be at Restwood Cemetery.

Pall bearers will be: Brian Mendoza, Joey Mendoza, Daniel Watts, Derrick Mendoza, Jordan Aguilar and Danny Mendoza. Honorary pall bearers will be:

Augustine Mendoza, Raymond Mendoza, Adam Mendoza, and Johnny Mendoza.
