Nicanor "Nick" Rojas

Nicanor "Nick" Rojas, Jr. 70, of Sealy, Texas passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015 in Houston, Texas after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. Nick was born Dec. 8, 1944 in Houston, Texas to Nicanor and Elvira Rojas. Before moving to Sealy Nick lived in Brazoria for eleven years. He enjoyed fishing, bar-b-queuing, and going to flea markets.



He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Mercy Bentancur, and grandson, Ricky Rojas, Jr.




Nick is survived by his wife of 53 years, Susie Rojas of Sealy, four children: Rita Rojas, Tina Lesley and husband Charles, Nick Rojas, III and Ricky Rojas, Sr. and wife Veronica, ten grandchildren; 16 great grand children; brother Joe Rojas and sister Herminia Bentancur and husband Damacio; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.



The family will receive friends 11 am until service time 2pm Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Lakewood Funeral Chapel with Pastor Martin Villarreal officiating.



Nick was the best handy man and mechanic. But most of all he loved spending time with his family.
